Ben:  I actually didn’t get to, unfortunately I didn’t get to stay and watch most of it.  I saw the first couple songs that they had.  But, Michael was in town, on tour with a band that he was in at the time.  So I just, I couldn’t miss that.  I pretty much did my show, hung out with the guys, did some signing stuff, and then I kind of ran.  But, the part I saw was amazing.

Michelle:  Yeah.

Tracey:  Yeah, I’ve seen them a handful of times.  So has Michelle.  If you had to compare yourself to another popular artist who would it be? – Johnny Cocktail (OrlandoFlorida Entertainment)

Ben:  I’m like, the worst person in the world to ask about that, because I kind of don’t even pay attention to…I’m like the worlds worst musician to ask about that kind of stuff, because I don’t really pay attention to who’s doing what.  I just kind of hear music that I like, and I just enjoy it.  Like, I rarely go “oh who’s that?”, or “what’s going on with that?”.  I don’t know.  I would say, honestly the thing that is interesting, there’s a lot of British music that I’ve kind of been getting into.  It’s a little bit, like, mellow, reverby, kind of big music.  And it’s actually been nice, because a lot of people out there have been contacting me about touring and stuff.  So I would say that, I don’t really know any specific names that I would say.  Do you have any idea?  I kind of need to know that.  I mean, I guess it would be somewhere on the range of like, Gavin Degraw, or Jason Mraz, someone like that.  I don’t know.  I don’t know any names to really point out.

Tracey:  I don’t know.  I haven’t really thought about it.  Michelle, can you think of anybody?

Michelle:  No, Gavin Degraw would be a good one, I think.

Ben:  Yeah?

Michelle:  Yeah.

Ben:  Well, there’s one.

Tracey: What is your favorite song one your Album? – Reina

Ben:  That’s like asking a mother to pick her children.  But, I don’t know.  I would say, one of the only songs that I’ve wrote before specifically the album was being written, was a song called “Drowning” or “Drownin’”, apostrophe.  It was one of the songs, I literally hung up the phone with my ex-girlfriend, and I just said something completely, I don’t even know why I said it.  Like, we had just had the most amazing conversation, like ever.  And, I was out on the road, and we’d just had this awesome conversation.  And, for some reason, I said it as a joke, cos I tend to do that.  I said it as a joke back, but then she thought that I wasn’t, like I was making fun of her for something that she had just opened up about, and I just felt like an idiot.  So, literally when we hung up the phone, I wrote that song.  And now, everytime I hear it, it just reminds me that I’m stupid.  No, sometimes you have to be, you can’t just make light of every situation.  So, that’s probably the one that is big for me.  That and “I Can’t Stop You Now”.

Tracey:  You’re not the only one that makes sarcastic comments.  People tend to take them seriously, when they shouldn’t.

Ben: Yeah, well you know, I’m just, I’m a light hearted person, and sometimes I just, guess I need to be a little more serious, you know.

Tracey:  Yeah, but I don’t know.  If they get to know your personality, and know that you’re like that, then.

Ben: (laughs) I just realize, you know, that through relationships and stuff, sometimes they’re looking for it to be a little more serious.  So, that’s what that reminds me of.

Tracey: What would you really love to write a song about, but haven't got the courage yet (for ex. religious situations or something that really attracts attention) – Sab

Ben:  Honestly, does it need to be political things?

Tracey:  No, that’s just an example.

Ben:  It’s a little less scandalous, but I want to write just songs, funny songs that people probably wouldn’t do, because it’s a little bit like touchy.  You know, it’s not like really poking fun at anything specific, like religion or politics in the world, but it’s just like, things that you just go “Oh, did he just really say that?” (laughs)  So, I don’t know.  I get ideas all the time, but then I’m like “Nah, nah I won’t do that”.  So, I think I might, eventually release like a full record.  The songs may be 60 seconds long, some of them well, who knows.  But it will just be things like that, comedic things of sorts.

Tracey:  Can you give us an example?

Ben:  What now?

Tracey:  Can you give us an example?  You said you’d thought of lots of ideas.

Ben: Ah man.  I would say, well there’s one…I had an idea about, sorry there’s people talking in the car now.  So yeah, different things like, one of my ex girlfriends had a dream about a guy, who was a pilot named Steve.  That’s the only thing she ever told me, so I wrote a song about how upset I was about this non-existent person.  Like I don’t know, things like that.  I don’t know, random things that probably wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to people in general.  That’s one reason I don’t ever write them. (laughs) Just strange, askew points of view on probably everyday little things.  So, I don’t really know.  I’ll release the record, and you’ll be the first to get it.  I’ll ship it straight over.

Tracey:  Alright (laughs).

Michelle:  Cool.

Ben: Probably different styles too, I want to do.  I feel, on this record, I was trying to keep it in one specific frame.  And I’d like to do records that’s just all over the place you know, like one song that almost sounds country, one that’s like hip-hop track, one that just totally, I love so many different types of music.  One that’s jazz, one that doesn’t have any vocals, you know, nobody would ever buy it I don’t think.  But, it would just be so much fun to make, because it would just be all these different types/styles of music that I like.  And I would love to listen to it.

Tracey:  That would be cool.

Ben:  So yeah.

Tracey: How would you describe yourself to a blind person?

Ben: To a blind person?

Tracey:  Right.

Ben:  Tell them they aren’t missing much.

Tracey:  That’s mean.

Ben:  Like physically or?

Tracey:  I’m not sure, probably physically.

Ben: Physically, I don’t know.  I’d say I’m a tall, skinny, white boy, kind of lanky, I don’t know.

Tracey & Michelle: (laughs)

Ben: I don’t really know.

Tracey:  That fits so many people.

Ben:  I know.  I don’t really know how to describe myself.  If they’ve been blind, I don’t know if they’d really be able to reference what I look like.  I’d say I’m tall, skinny white boy (laughs).  Did she mean personality wise or just looks wise?

Tracey:  I’m not sure.  That’s all it says.

Ben:  Oh, it was one of the questions from the website?

Tracey:  Yeah.

Ben:  Um, I have no idea honestly.  That’s a tough one.

Tracey:  Because if you describe, you know eye color, hair color, they’ve never really seen color so they wouldn’t know.

Ben:  Yeah.
