Tracey: Which would be worse, Never singing again in your life but making a lot of money doing theater or staying in the music business but making very little money. (Heidi)

Chris:  The music business sucks, the business aspect of it.  If I could just sing and move my body, dance I’d be happy.  Money is great, but if I could do anything it would be in the music industry.  It’s got a lot of different, like touring, that’s not really the industry.  The industry has a lot of people that don’t know what they are doing.  They get kids all excited to do what they want to do.  Making money or not, that’s what I want to do, making art basically.

Tracey: Cool.  Do you still talk to any of the ex Dreamstreet members? (Leah)

Chris:  Yeah, occasionally I’ll run into one of them.  They’ll be brought up into the conversation.  Or someone will call them and I’ll say hi.  But I don’t really talk to them on a daily basis, or a weekly basis, or monthly.  We just talk occasionally.  For no specific reasons, just you know.  They don’t like to talk to me, and I accept it.  I don’t want to force myself on them, even though I’d love to talk to them.  They’re just not talking to me, I don’t know next question.

Michelle:  They will.

Tracey: Yeah, we won’t make you go into it.  I'd like to ask him if there is anything he regrets in his career and if so what is it and would he change it? (Tasha)

Chris: I don’t really regret anything.  I think I regret working with certain people, certain mothers I regret.  Even putting my name together with them.  Okay, no I regret working with certain mothers, that’s pretty much about it.  Something I could really regret.  I regret listening to what they have to say, working with their sons pretty much.  I mean, that’s the only thing I really regret.  Getting involved in that, and stage mother people.  I can’t deal with that.  It drives me crazy.  I have nightmares about mothers.  The mother is going “We gotta take it, we gotta take hold of it” and I’m going “We’re doing fine, leave it alone, it’s just fine the way it is.”  I regret not speaking up more, not putting my input in, because they got theirs in and I didn’t really get to say anything.  The fans have heard stories, and I’ve never defended myself, and so on, and so on.  That’s pretty much what I regret. Yeah, that’s about it.

Michelle:  Cool.

Tracey:  Your kind of getting a chance to say something now.

Chris:  Oh yeah, that’s what I’m really happy and positive about now.  Definitely true that I’m getting my chance now, so totally.

Michelle:  Yeah.

Tracey:  Fans will listen to that. What are your favorite stores to shop at? (Kim)

Chris:  Stores to shop at?  I love stores that have everything in them.  Urban Outfitters is pretty cool, because they have every taste.  Stores that have every quality of clothes.  I don’t know, I just like different looking things.  I don’t like typical, everyday stuff that you can buy on the street.  It’s fun to be different.

Michelle:  My favorite store is Hollister.

Chris:  Hollister is pretty cool.  I have a lot of Hollister jeans, so they are cool.

Tracey: Do you have any plans to come over to the UK, England to be precise?

Chris:  Yeah, I’m going to be traveling over there, probably as soon as the CD does get released I’m guessing.  Maybe one of my main places to go, Sweden.  I went to Sweden, had a great time there.  The movie “Biggest Fan” was played more then a lot, I think 4 times.  So I’m getting solo, decent solo out in London.  So it’s promising to go to the UK, and all over Europe, Asia too.  Asia rocks, I want to go there.

Tracey:  Awesome.

Chris:  Yeah.

Tracey:  The girl wanted me to tell you that Your music is great but we don’t get to hear it over here that much.  It is a shame, would love to hear and see you live (Lisa)

Chris:  Aw, that’s cool.  That’s good.  She’ll get to hear it too.

Tracey: What would you like to be remembered most for? (Nina)

Chris:  I would like to be remembered for the fact that I sing and dance, and that I don’t lip-synch.  I don’t like people that sing and step away from the mic, do butt shakes.  I actually dance.  I like to be a dancer.  I just don’t think having a face is enough.  You have to be able to entertain.  So I like to.  I like people to be like “Wow you put on a great show”, not like “Oooh you’re hott” you know “Wow I like your hair now”.  I like them to actually like what I do, you know.

Tracey:  That’s good.

Chris:  That’s what I’d like to be remembered for.

Tracey:  I like shows that are entertaining, and the artist actually entertains, you know interacts with the crowd.

Chris:  Say it again.

Tracey:  If they get up there and ignore the whole audience.

Chris:  Yeah, I can’t deal with that.  I can’t stand that.  Especially autograph signings, I can’t stand when people are like, even if they’re really famous.  If they’re going to do autograph signings with fans, pay attention to them.  Speak with them if you have to, but keep it small.  But don’t like be like “no cameras no touching no this no that”.  I mean, that’s ridiculous.  Then it’s like so un-personal, if you’re fans really can’t get to meet and greet you, if you’re not meet and greeting them right?  I don’t like that.

Michelle:  I totally agree.  I get a lot more out of it when the stars actually like interact.

Chris:  Exactly, cos you’re there to meet and greet, not to…

Tracey:  Not to just get a piece of paper signed and walk on.

Chris:  Exactly.  It’s annoying.  I mean it’s a meet and greet “thank you”.

Tracey:  A lot of the shows at Mall of America here they’re always like “No pictures, no touching them”.

Michelle:  Yeah.

Tracey:  And they just push us off the stage.

Chris:  Yeah.  That happened when I was with Aaron Carter.  I remember, he was signing a bunch of them, and his bodyguards would hand them to random girls. “Here you go here you go, next, here you go”.  And he was sitting at the table signing as quick as he could, each photo, each photo, each photo.  And the girls would be like “Hi Aaron” and he would just ignore them.  And I was like “Aaron what’s that?” and he was like “What can I do man? I’m too famous”.  God, that guy cracks me up.

Tracey:  See, I’ve heard a bunch of bad stuff about Aaron, but when I’ve met him he’s been really nice to me so.

Chris:  Aaron’s a nice guy, if he meets you one on one.  I’m just saying ignoring wise, it’s not even him, they make him rush through people.  But Aaron’s really nice, he’s a good friend of mine actually.

Tracey:  Alright.

Chris:  But like I was saying some people are told to do that.  “Hurry up hurry up hurry up”.

Tracey:  Right.

Chris: Depending on the crowd, less talking to people.

Tracey:  Sometimes it’s the mall.

Chris:  Yeah, it’s mostly the mom or the bodyguards.  So yep.

Tracey: If you could spend one day with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why? (Dana)

Chris: Dead or alive, I don’t know.  If I could spend a day with anyone, it would be probably…Anna.

Tracey:  Aww.

Chris:  She’s alive too, which makes it even better.

Tracey:  Is she over there going “awww”?

Michelle:  Awww.

Chris:  Awww yeah.
