What is it like working for The Disney Channel when Chris works for Nickelodean?

It’s funny, because my brother goes to all these Nickelodean events. I’ll go with him to some of these events, and I’ll feel so out of place. All these Nickelodean kids, and I’m the only Disney kid. I try not to get photographed with the Nickelodean kids, so I stay in the background. My brother doesn’t. He’ll go to
Disney events with me and pop up in all the pictures.

Well I know that Amy and Devon said that they were friends.

Oh yeah, I know Amy and Devon. I’m friends with Amy.

We talked to them a few weeks ago. They’re cool.

Yeah.

Besides being a talented actor, you are a skilled golfer. You won 1st place in the National Minority Midwest Jr. Golf Tournament. What was that like?

That was fun. That was like my first feel of paparazzi. Everytime I won a tournament they’d photograph me with all these celebrities.

Got you used to it.

It was fun though. It was great. I love doing that, I love golf. It’s always fun. My dad loves to play golf. So that was awesome. I love playing golf. It was great. I loved it.

I heard you are also a talented artist? Do you draw? Where might we see some of your artwork?

My artwork? *laughs* Probably in my house, definitely. It’s not even on the walls, probably in a hotel. I’m okay. I can be hard on myself. I took this drawing class and it helps you draw better. It helps me make my faces even, and I don’t know. I think I’m okay.

Yeah, I was told to take drawing for graphic/web design, because it helps for drawing sketches.

Oh yeah?

Yeah but I never did. I can’t draw so.

Aww. Just like me.

I just make very rough thumbnails. Like my one friend in class, would be like “what the heck is that?”

*Laughs* I’ve gotten that many, many times. What’s this? Do you know what this is? It’s a dog. No, it’s a shoe.

Oh I drew something, a state, or something for a poster in class and I got told “oh there’s a boot” and I’m like “it’s not a boot!” but yeah, what do you usually draw?

I usually draw people, not like real people. I usually draw cartoons. And cars. I drew this one guy, and he thought I was using his face to make a girl. I was like that’s the last time I’m drawing people. He thought I drew a girl.

Aw, I think it was actually a car I was trying to draw that looked like a shoe.

Yeah *laughs*

What kind of music do you listen to?

I like rap.

Rap. Like who?

I think my favorite rapper would have to be TI and Ludacris, definitely TI.

Who would you like to work with and why?

Who would I like to work with?

Yeah.

I would like to work with Denzel, Will Smith, and Martin Lawrence.

That would be cool, very funny guys.

Huh?

Very funny guys.

Oh definitely. Bad Boys is my favorite movie of all time.

Josh: I love Bad Boys too. I remember the part where he gets shot.

At the very beginning? *laughs*

Josh: Yeah, that’s the one I’m talking about. He’s like “you got me!” And then
Will Smith is like “I got you?”

"Oooh my bad.” *laughs* I love how he apologizes.

Josh: Yeah I know, lets not forget the doctor part.

Oh haha, yeah *laughs*

Josh: When the massage therapist is like “oooh ahh”.

Ooo-sha *laughs*

Ooookay.

What is something interesting about you that not many people know?

Nobody, or just most people?

That not many people know.

That I ride motorcycles, and probably that I ride motorcycles.
