LISTEN TO OUR EXCLUSIVE PHONE INTERVIEW WITH CHASE HERE!

One look ... one listen, and you are quick to discover that Chase Mitchell is no ordinary teen. Singing since a very young age, Chase has developed his voice as well as his stage performance instincts.

His smooth voice serves up a heaping helping of country, like you’ve never heard it before certainly not from someone his age. In this day and age of the unthinkable, Chase’s lyrics are refreshing and his style unforgettable. Don’t let his tender age fool you. Chase can sing and write a love song that makes you envision every love you’ve ever fell in and out of. He has a maturity beyond his years and a style all his own. "I like to sing about things that are real. Sometimes I like to take things lightly and poke fun in a song, but mostly I just sing it the way I see it. I believe in doing everything to the limit - feeling, living, loving and laughing. If that comes across in my music, then that’s great mission accomplished!" states Chase with a smile.

First discovered at age 8, in Atlanta, by the creator of the popular 80’s groups, New Kids on the Block and New Edition, Chase had no problems taking the microphone and belting out a song for a crowd that had gathered at a CD release party hosted by Mr. Maurice Starr. It was that opportunity that gave him his musical start. Since then, Chase has performed on stages all over the east coast. From Phillips Arena in his home town of Atlanta to the Jacksonville Amphitheater on the beachfront for thousands of NCA Cheerleaders, Chase has been performing for over 8 years to audiences of all ages and has built quite a dedicated following.

Having grown up in the "Dirty South", Chase grew up listening to all types of music from hip hop to pop, but his tastes naturally gravitated to southern country rock, and he found himself singing along at a very young age. "I’ve always known that I loved to sing. Being on stage and the energy that comes from performing is awesome I’m like a junkie for it!" says Chase. As he grew older, Chase found himself inspired by the sounds of groups like 38 Special and Lynard Skynard, as well as solo artists like Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks. "I used to study people on stage in videos, like Garth, as if there was going to be a test at the end and my life depended on it! My Mom used to come into my room at night and make me turn off the TV but I always snuck it back on!"

He was also heavily impressed by the two Johnny’s. "I remember reading a book in school about Johnny Cash and his influence on country music, says Chase. I really admire people who can be lyrically honest about their life and stand firm for what they believe no matter the cost. I think Johnny fought a lot of demons in his life and his music was his sharpest sword. He was that kind of person. I never met him, but I wish I had." Of course, the other Johnny is Melancamp. "I think every time I got in my dad’s truck when I was growing up, he was listening to Pink Houses or Jack and Diane. I remember my dad, who grew up in a small town in Indiana, telling me about the farming crisis as he listened to Rain on the Scarecrow, Blood on the Plow."

Anyone who spends time with this young man finds themselves shocked to learn that he just recently turned 16 years old!! He has the professionalism, the drive, and the work ethic of men twice his age. Chivalry and character are at the roots of his upbringing, along with a generous portion of influence from being raised in the south’s Bible belt. Chase has his feet on the ground and his eye on the prize. He sets his goals higher than most would dare to dream, and he has the guts along with the raw talents to just go for it!

Chase’s passion to be seen and heard drives him relentlessly moving forward. I am having the time of my life doing what I have always wanted to do. "I feel really blessed to be able to pursue my dreams and have the support of my family, friends and people within the industry who I really respect. I have a great team on my side and I can’t wait to see what else the future holds so far, the first 16 years have been a blast!"
